Fastest WordPress Hosting 2026

By Keith, Editor · Updated October 5, 2026

Fastest WordPress hosting, on this page, means which public plan gives a WordPress site the most speed-relevant stack for the money. The stack is the web server, the storage type, a built-in CDN, server-level or object caching, the PHP and HTTP versions the vendor actually lists, and a data center you can place near visitors. It is a spec-sheet ranking. The use-case page stays Best WordPress Hosting 2026, which sorts budget, WordPress tooling, and cPanel plus phone. The hub stays Best Web Hosting 2026. The scored write-up is Hostinger Review 2026. The unscored cPanel write-up is GreenGeeks Review 2026. The two-host matchup is Bluehost vs Hostinger. This page does not move those rankings.

Quick verdict, in speed-stack-per-dollar order. Hostinger Unlimited is the pick for most WordPress sites (editorial 4.5): LiteSpeed, LiteSpeed Cache, 50 GB NVMe, and CDN included. Premium on the same list is SSD, so Unlimited is the speed tile. GreenGeeks Pro is the LiteSpeed path on a 12-month term, and this page does not score it. Storage on the public pages is SSD. Bluehost Business is the NVMe, object-cache, and phone path (editorial 4.0). The public WordPress page does not name Bluehost’s web server. Commission does not set this order. Hostinger’s button opens the public pricing page.

How we picked

We ran no speed tests. There is no TTFB, load time, PageSpeed score, uptime percentage, or lab ranking from this site on this page. If a vendor number appears below, it is labeled as that vendor’s claim, and we have not reproduced it. Research is the public spec sheets checked October 5, 2026: Hostinger’s WordPress and pricing pages, Bluehost’s WordPress page, and GreenGeeks’ WordPress and pricing pages. Prices match the plan arrays already in this repo. No new dollar was added.

SiteGround was not fetched on October 5, 2026. A bot challenge blocks that load. GrowBig’s notes stay the September 23, 2026 stamp: faster PHP, staging, and on-demand backups. This page does not invent a SiteGround web server, storage type, or CDN line to fill the table.

The order is the speed stack per dollar, read off those sheets. LiteSpeed, LiteSpeed Cache, NVMe, and a CDN at Unlimited’s renewal come first. LiteSpeed on SSD, with a shorter term and a higher renewal, is second. NVMe, object caching, and a free CDN, on a page that does not name the web server, is third. A live affiliate hop does not reorder that. GreenGeeks and SiteGround stay off the hub.

Quick picks

Three WordPress plans, in speed-stack merit order. The large figure is the intro. The note is the renewal and the storage type that decided the rank. Last verified: October 5, 2026 for Hostinger, Bluehost, and GreenGeeks. GreenGeeks dollars match the October 1, 2026 table. SiteGround is an honorable mention further down, on the September 23, 2026 stamp.

Hostinger Unlimited is $3.99/mo for 48 months ($191.52 up front), then $16.99/mo. GreenGeeks Pro, re-checked October 5, 2026, matches the October 1, 2026 dollars: $4.95/mo for 12 months ($59.40), then $18.95/mo. Bluehost Business is $6.99/mo for 36 months ($251.64), then $13.99/mo. No promo codes. Empty cells stay empty. This page does not invent a PHP or HTTP line the vendor did not print.

Speed-stack picks in merit order. Last verified October 5, 2026 for Hostinger, Bluehost, and GreenGeeks. GreenGeeks dollars match October 1, 2026. Editorial scores are ours. GreenGeeks stays unscored. Not a lab test. Affiliate links can earn a commission. Rankings stay independent. The Hostinger hop is the public pricing page.

The intro is a prepaid term. Unlimited’s $3.99 sticker is $191.52 paid up front. Pro is $59.40 for 12 months. Business is $251.64 over 36 months. A shorter Hostinger term is a different rate, and this page does not invent one. Free SSL is on every host in this list, so it is not a speed column.

1. Hostinger Unlimited — LiteSpeed, NVMe, and a CDN

Hostinger Unlimited is the speed pick for most WordPress sites. Editorial score 4.5, the same score as the Hostinger review. On the public pricing page re-checked October 5, 2026, Unlimited is $3.99/mo for 48 months ($191.52 up front), then $16.99/mo, with 50 GB NVMe, daily backups, and Unlimited* sites under the fair-use line Hostinger prints. The WordPress and pricing pages list LiteSpeed, smart caching with LiteSpeed Cache, and code minification. CDN is included on Unlimited and on Cloud Startup. The Premium tile also lists a CDN, and Premium’s storage line is SSD.

Premium is the wrong speed tile. It is $2.99/mo, then $10.99/mo, with 20 GB SSD, 3 sites, and weekly backups. Twenty gigabytes of SSD can hold a small blog. It is not the NVMe line. Unlimited is one dollar more on the intro and the plan that actually pairs LiteSpeed with NVMe. That gap is why this page quotes Unlimited, while the use-case WordPress page still lets a first site start on Premium for budget and tooling.

Cloud Startup is the same vendor’s step-up, not the first buy. It is $7.99/mo for 48 months ($383.52), then $25.99/mo, with 100 GB NVMe and daily + on demand backups. Buy it when the site outgrows shared resources. Do not buy it only to get LiteSpeed. Unlimited already lists LiteSpeed. Hostinger’s WordPress page also describes an AI Website Optimizer that applies LiteSpeed optimizations. That sentence is the vendor’s feature. This page does not repeat a percentage gain, and it did not watch the optimizer run.

The October 5 notes this page quotes do not include a PHP version or an HTTP version for Hostinger. This site’s WordPress article already notes PHP version control on the managed WordPress page. That older note is not a new October 5 measurement. The panel is hPanel. The $3.99 sticker is a 48-month prepay. If the site might be gone in a year, read the GreenGeeks term before you treat Unlimited as the only rational click. The head-to-head with Bluehost on panel and phone is Bluehost vs Hostinger.

2. GreenGeeks Pro — LiteSpeed on SSD, 12-month term

GreenGeeks Pro is the pick when you want LiteSpeed and you would rather prepay 12 months than 48. This page does not score GreenGeeks, and it does not put GreenGeeks first on the hub. The write-up of the host is the GreenGeeks review. Re-checked October 5, 2026, the plan cards match October 1, 2026: Pro is $4.95/mo for 12 months ($59.40), then $18.95/mo, with Unlimited Websites and 50 GB. The WordPress and pricing pages list that storage as SSD.

The speed lines on those pages are specific. LiteSpeed Web Server. MariaDB. An in-house LSCache. Redis caching is mentioned. PHP 8. The WordPress page says HTTP/2. The pricing page says HTTP/3. This page keeps those two lines apart instead of collapsing them into one badge. Cloudflare CDN integration is listed as free and one-click. Data centers are listed in North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. None of that is a stopwatch result. Redis “mentioned” is not a hit rate.

Lite is the thinner tile: $2.95/mo, then $13.95/mo, for 1 Website and 25 GB. One website is the wrong box if the domain and a second install need to live together. Premium is $8.95/mo, then $30.95/mo, with 100 GB. More SSD does not turn the storage line into NVMe. Pro is the multi-site step at a renewal of $18.95/mo, which sits above Hostinger Unlimited. GreenGeeks markets a renewable-energy match. That sentence is the vendor’s claim. This page did not audit power contracts, and the eco line is not why Pro is second. A live GreenGeeks hop does not move this host above Hostinger.

3. Bluehost Business — NVMe, object caching, and a phone line

Bluehost Business is the third pick, editorial 4.0, the same shared frame this site already uses. On the public WordPress page confirmed October 5, 2026, the speed lines are NVMe storage, a free CDN, advanced static content caching, and object caching. The FAQ mentions PHP 8 and HTTP/3. The same page lists US data centers and a CDN edge. It does not name the web server. This page will not fill that blank in with LiteSpeed or with any other server name.

Business is the plan this page quotes: $6.99/mo for 36 months ($251.64), then $13.99/mo, with 50 sites, 50 GB NVMe, and phone plus chat. Starter is the thinner tile: $3.99/mo, then $9.99/mo, 10 sites, 10 GB NVMe, and chat. Phone in this cluster is documented on Business, not on Starter. eCommerce Essentials stays the commerce tile, not the speed quote: $14.99/mo for 36 months ($539.64), then $21.99/mo, with 100 sites and 100 GB NVMe.

Bluehost’s WordPress page advertises a 0.35 second average US load time and cites WPShout’s tests. We have not reproduced it. That figure is not a score, not a column in the table, and not a reason to move Business above a LiteSpeed plan this page can actually name. Choose Business when you want NVMe, object caching, a CDN, and a person on the phone, and you have priced $13.99/mo after 36 months. Choose Hostinger Unlimited when the named LiteSpeed stack and the NVMe disk are the whole job. If the question is whether to leave Bluehost entirely, that list is Bluehost alternatives.

Honorable mention: SiteGround GrowBig

SiteGround GrowBig is here for readers who already want SiteGround’s WordPress tooling. It is not a fourth ranked winner. This page does not score SiteGround, does not crown it on the hub, and does not invent a speed stack the October 5 fetch could not load. The dollars are the September 23, 2026 stamp. This page did not load a fresh SiteGround price. A bot challenge blocks that fetch. GrowBig is $4.99/mo for 12 months ($59.88), then $29.99/mo. The logged note lists staging, on-demand backups, and faster PHP as GrowBig extras.

The WordPress article already on this site also says the WordPress tiles list SiteGround’s Speed Optimizer plugin. This page did not re-fetch that page on October 5, 2026, so Speed Optimizer stays a prior note, not a new CDN or web-server claim. StartUp is usually too tight for a site you expect to grow: $2.99/mo for 12 months ($35.88), then $17.99/mo, for 1 site and 10 GB, and the WordPress note does not list staging on StartUp. GoGeek stays price-only: $7.99/mo intro and $44.99/mo renewal, with no speed grid and no term length this stamp restates.

The catch is the renewal. $29.99/mo after 12 months is well above Hostinger Unlimited and above GreenGeeks Pro. Quote GrowBig when the tooling is the reason and you have already accepted that bill. Skip it when you came here for a named LiteSpeed and NVMe stack at a lower renewal.

Buying guide: what actually makes WordPress fast

The host is the floor, not the whole page

A LiteSpeed box still serves whatever theme and plugins you install. Page builders, slider plugins, and a pile of overlapping optimization plugins are a common way to make a fast server look slow. Start from a theme you can explain, and turn off plugins you are not using. This page did not benchmark a theme. It will not pretend the host badge outruns a heavy homepage.

Put the data center near the visitors

Distance shows up before the cache does. Bluehost’s WordPress page lists US data centers and a CDN edge. GreenGeeks lists data centers in North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. Pick the region your visitors actually use when the cart offers a choice. This page does not add a Hostinger city list from the October 5 notes it is willing to quote. A CDN helps images and static files. It does not move the origin closer for a logged-in WordPress request.

Turn the cache on

LiteSpeed Cache on Hostinger and GreenGeeks’ in-house LSCache are the plugins those servers are built to pair with. Installing a second cache plugin beside them is a common way to get a blank page, not a faster one. Bluehost’s page lists advanced static content caching and object caching. Object caching helps repeated database work. It does not shrink a 4 MB hero image. Read the plugin’s own screen after install and confirm caching is enabled. This page did not log into those panels on October 5, 2026.

Image weight

Photographs are often the largest bytes on a WordPress URL. Resize them to the size the layout actually displays, compress them, and let the CDN serve the static file. A host change does not rewrite a 4000-pixel PNG into a small file. Do that work in the media library, or with one image plugin, before you decide the server is the bottleneck.

When to leave shared hosting

Shared hosting still shares CPU. Checkout delays, admin screens that wait, and resource emails are the signal to leave the Unlimited tile. The documented step-up on the same Hostinger list is Cloud Startup, at $7.99/mo intro and $25.99/mo renewal, with 100 GB NVMe. A VPS is a different product: isolated resources and more of the box left in your hands. This page does not publish a VPS price and does not score a VPS brand. A store with a real catalog should also read web hosting for ecommerce.

The renewal is the bill that stays

The intro is the ad. The renewal is the product. Hostinger Unlimited moves from $3.99/mo to $16.99/mo after 48 months. GreenGeeks Pro moves from $4.95/mo to $18.95/mo after 12 months. Bluehost Business renews at $13.99/mo after 36 months. SiteGround GrowBig, on the September 23, 2026 stamp, renews at $29.99/mo after 12 months. A 48-month prepay is how Unlimited shows $3.99. If you will not stay four years, price the exit before you call that sticker the speed bargain.

Test it yourself inside the money-back window

Use the same WordPress install, the same theme, and the same plugins, or you are comparing pages, not hosts. Run PageSpeed Insights and WebPageTest. Measure TTFB from the region your visitors use. A laptop on your home connection is one sample. This cluster already records a 30-day money-back as advertised for these hosts. This page did not file a refund on October 5, 2026, and it did not re-read every exclusion. Read the cart, then test inside that window.

Check Hostinger pricing opens the public pricing page, where Unlimited’s $3.99/mo figure is $191.52 divided by 48. It is not a month-to-month bill, and it is not a commission deal.

Fastest WordPress hosting FAQ

What is the fastest WordPress hosting in 2026?

Hostinger Unlimited. Editorial score 4.5. LiteSpeed, LiteSpeed Cache, 50 GB NVMe, and CDN included, at $3.99/mo for 48 months, then $16.99/mo. Premium is SSD, so Unlimited is the speed tile. GreenGeeks Pro is the unscored LiteSpeed path on SSD. Bluehost Business, score 4.0, lists NVMe and object caching. This page ran no speed test. The hub is Best Web Hosting 2026.

Hostinger vs GreenGeeks for WordPress speed: which stack should I buy?

This page did not race them. Unlimited renews at $16.99/mo after 48 months and lists NVMe. Pro renews at $18.95/mo after 12 months and lists SSD, LiteSpeed, LSCache, and a Cloudflare CDN. Unlimited is first on that stack per dollar. Pro is the shorter prepay. The write-up is the GreenGeeks review. GreenGeeks stays unscored.

Is Bluehost fast for WordPress?

Third on this page. Business lists 50 GB NVMe, a free CDN, object caching, and PHP 8 plus HTTP/3 in the FAQ. The WordPress page does not name the web server. Editorial 4.0. Bluehost advertises a 0.35 second average US load time and cites WPShout. We have not reproduced it. Business is $6.99/mo, then $13.99/mo. The panel comparison is Bluehost vs Hostinger.

Does the host make WordPress fast by itself?

The stack is the floor. Theme, plugins, and image weight are still the page. Turn LiteSpeed Cache or the host’s cache on, and do not stack a second cache plugin on top of it without a reason. The use-case sibling is best WordPress hosting.

How should I test WordPress hosting speed before the money-back window closes?

Same theme, same plugins, then PageSpeed Insights and WebPageTest. Measure TTFB from the visitors’ region. Do it inside the money-back window on the cart. This page did not run those tests and did not file a refund.

Is the Hostinger button an affiliate deal?

The Hostinger button opens the public pricing page. The copy says See Hostinger plans or Check Hostinger pricing. Bluehost, GreenGeeks, and SiteGround have live affiliate hops. Those hops do not set the order. Hostinger Unlimited is first on editorial merit, score 4.5.

When should a WordPress site leave shared hosting?

When shared CPU is the wait, or you need a box you do not share. Cloud Startup on the same Hostinger list is $7.99/mo intro and $25.99/mo renewal, with 100 GB NVMe. This page does not publish a VPS price. A store should read web hosting for ecommerce.
